They say bigger is better, and that is certainly true for rock guards. The XL rear rock guards are nearly double the protection of the rear GM splash guards.
Eliminate paint chips from the rear wheels spinning and projecting debris upwards, the XL rock guards are designed to match the C7 aggressive and edgy design.
The guards come in carbon flash (matches all the carbon flash components on the C7 Corvette) or hydro carbon, which is a close match to the OEM carbon fiber splitter and rocker option.
Manufactured in a black ABS-PC plastic, the rock guards will withstand the impact of rocks and other road debris, protecting your Corvette.
Sold as a set; Each set contains a passenger and driver side.
A newly developed bladed shield on the edge of the splash guard stops any debris from directly entering the wheel well--Providing additional coverage over any rear splash guard.
How do they install?
The XL guards come press clips that will snap right into place. No extra drilling, cutting, or other modifications necessary. Simply snap in, and drive comfortably knowing that your Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, or ZR1 is protected.
Which finish will match my Grand Sport or Z06?
Textured black will match the fender extension that goes around the front wheel well. It will blend in better with a textured finish. We recommend Textured Black for all C7 Corvettes (Stingray, Grand Sport & Z06) as these are more for protections than aesthetics!
Is any drilling required to install the splash guards?
No. Drilling is not required. These are installed re-using existing OEM hardware found on the C7. Mud guards can be installed in under 20 minutes.
I am noticing a lot of chipping on the side of my Corvette, and particularly towards the rear. Will these help?
Yes. The ACS Enhanced Splash Guards were designed 30% larger than the OEMs to offer additional protection for those areas. They will reduce the amount of rocks propelled towards the rear.
